Issues with Samsung

Did you save the route on your Samsung phone and after its completion you see that it did not end up in our system or that some parts are missing? We know the problem. For some time now, Samsung phones have been among the most problematic when it comes to automatic shutdown of applications.


Where does this problem arise? Activy, like all GPS-based route recording applications on your phone, must be running during the whole ride. Samsung's software, on the other hand, prioritizes battery saving by default, which aggressively disables background applications.

Usually in such cases the activity time is recorded correctly, but the calculated distance is significantly underestimated.

Fortunately, we know very effective ways to avoid such situations - all you need to do is configure your phone properly.


You need to go to Settings-> Applications-> Activy-> Battery-> Battery optimization. Then it is necessary to set the filter in the list: All applications, find Activy in this list and uncheck the Optimize * checkbox.
