Issues with XIAOMI

Being a sportsman and, simultaneously, a XIAOMI phone owner is not easy. Did you ever experience a situation where your route wasn’t saved or the Activy app shut down during the activity?

Unfortunately, the problem lies not within the Activy app, but within the system of XIAOMI phones. It can shut down the app and leave our efforts unrecorded. However, that is not always the case.

Below, you can find a solution, that should work on most of the devices.


Solution 1 - changing phone settings

Depending on the version of the operating system, we recommend one of those three solutions:

  1. Go to „Settings” and find „Protected apps”. Turn on the protection for Activy.
  2. Go to „Settings” and find „Apps” (advanced settings) and authorize Activy’s settings considering battery usage, background activity or its activity when the screen is turned off. Each operating system has a slightly different settings screen. Below you’ll find the solution:

Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Find „Activy” on the list > Battery saver > No restrictions

3. Authorize the app to utilize the GPS signal: Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Find „Activy” on the list > App Permissions > tick the authorizations
